School Night Fishing

 3-16-10   It was a Tuesday night and Austin had school the next day. My heart was still pounding from our catch the previous Sunday. Austin had standardized testing so NO HOMEWORK!!! I was almost home and called the house and told him to be ready and get the rods. It was getting late and by the time we arrived the tide had rolled in. We were an hour late. I was afraid we had missed the show. Well...the show was not a blockbuster but in just over an hour we managed to boat 5 fish. We hooked another but never saw him. He took off and the drag was singing. It was the most beautiful song in the world...I know you've heard it!!!! Then, just that fast he was gone..spit the hook. Great afternoon in the water on a school night, and much more fun than HOMEWORK!!!! 

Weather: 50 and overcast, slight wind
